When not working on a new book, David teaches at The School of Visual Arts in NYC. He lives in Rosendale, New York, with his family and a big, furry dog named Pico.

Jacky Davis, along with her husband, David Soman, is the creator of the bestselling Ladybug Girl series as well as the Elvis and Romeo and Agent Lion series. Jacky has written several other picture books, including Sunny Side Up, Olive & Pekoe, and Good Dream Dragon.
