About the Author

Ned Bustard is a graphic designer, children's book illustrator, author, and printmaker. As the creative director for Square Halo Books Inc. and curator of the Square Halo Gallery, Ned has lectured at colleges, schools, churches, and conferences. His work is found in numerous titles, including Saint Nicholas the Giftgiver, Saint Patrick the Forgiver, The O in Hope, and Every Moment Holy.


Luci Shaw (1928-2025) was a poet, an editor, a retreat leader, a lecturer, and the author of forty books, including Thumbprint in the Clay, The Adventure of Ascent, and The Genesis of It All. Luci and her husband lived in Bellingham, Washington, where she enjoyed sailing, tent camping, knitting, gardening, and wilderness photography.
