Winter Is the Worst!

Bear loves winter. Penguin does not. Penguin hates bulky layers, stubborn snow, sneaky ice, and especially spontaneous snowball fights! But maybe there's more to winter than just the weather, especially when it involves outdoor activities with friends. New York Times bestselling illustrator Dan Tavis captures the joys and frustrations of a cold, snowy winter with his signature humor. Originally published in German, this delightful picture book is relatable for anyone who's lived through a long northern winter season. Perfect for family reading time and sharing between generations.

About the Author

My Name is Dan Tavis and I am a New York Times Bestselling illustrator living in New Hampshire. I have been doodling ever since my first math class in elementary school and haven't stopped since! I have a passion for illustrating characters that emotionally connect with the viewer and tell stories through a visual narrative. Most of my work is done traditionally with watercolor and ink or digitally with the iPad Pro using the Procreate app.
